Let’s not stand on ceremony. I’m a creative director, a proud Honduran, and an improv comedian. It’s a mix that works for me—unexpected, but perfectly aligned.
I’ve spent my career crafting campaigns for brands around the world, blending strategic thinking with creative firepower to tell stories that connect and elevate. Every idea starts with a clear vision, but it’s the execution that brings it to life—whether through print, digital, or whatever form resonates with the audience.
Beyond leading a team, I’m a partner to my clients. I dig deep into their business, uncovering insights that shape creative solutions with impact. I believe the best work happens when strategy and creativity move in lockstep—when the big ideas don’t just look good but serve a real purpose.
As a leader, empathy and curiosity drive me. I foster an environment where both my team and my clients feel empowered to push boundaries, explore new perspectives, and create work that’s both effective and exciting. After all, I’m always working to be the leader I wished I had when I was starting out.
And the improv? That’s the secret sauce. It’s given me a deeper understanding of collaboration and the beauty of “yes, and.” It’s how I approach everything—from the big ideas to the small details. It’s not just about saying “yes” to the creative; it’s about building on it and making it better.
Brands I've worked with: adidas, AT&T, Chase for Business, Charles Schwab, Disney, ebay, ESPN, Fenty, Google, LG, Michelin, Nike, Pella, Under Armour, YouTube
“Nikki is a talented Art Director and illustrator. She has the rare combination of creative and critical thinking—which leads to outstandingly gorgeous and strategic work. She is brilliant, insightful and (maybe of some surprise) a copy whiz.”
“Nikki has been a huge contributor to the Pella team over the last year and done a lot of amazing work. She’s brought a ton of passion and talent to everything she’s touched.”
“I love her brain for concepting ... She’s a blue sky thinker as well as a talented designer and illustrator. She often would push past where the client’s head was at to get them to think much bigger. She works hard to problem solve in a way that helps the client’s ask and creates beautiful work.”
“Nikki is an exceptional marketer who takes the overall consumer experience to another level. Her design prowess is top tier and her passion to make all of her work create success for her clients adds great value. ”
“Honduras qualified for the World Cup tournament finals. Our star designer from that country is Nikki Rodriguez. She has a special focus on graphic design, digital art, and typography. Most of the projects in her portfolio reveal her inspiration that comes from a profound sense of wonder. Mostly, she plays with the elements of space, astrology, and the negative vs. positive, which indicates an explorative mind.”
